Umbráfono, project by Enrique del Castillo (Jaén, 1982),
performance with three optical readers capable of transforming
in sound the light stimuli which are generated by a beam of light at the
pass through celluloid films.
The films are designed from a scheme of
relationship between wave frequency of notes and repetition of
geometric shapes, so that
harmonic sounds, noises, and sound textures .
